On the first Sunday of each month we conduct a New and Interested Growers meeting at various members residences.  Experienced growers provide cultural information and hon orchid growing. Members may bring plants for discussion and get advice on any problems they may have with plants. These mornings are informal  and members bring a plate and share morning tea.

Rosedale District – 8th April. Vehicles will assemble at 8:45 am at the Northside Cornetts IGA. A sheet will be available for members to indicate if they wish to get a lift or use their vehicle to take others. It would be good if we can limit the number of vehicles that are on the road. We will travel to Lea Crawfords property at Rosedale to visit and then on to Deepwater to Doug and Noela Sorenson’s home. There we will visit and join together for a barbeque. Could use please bring something for sweets, your plates and cutlery, chair and a hat.
